1987 Porsche Carrera 3.2 G50 Coupe

This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Marine Blue Metallic over Silver Grey and Cobalt upholstery. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, a power-operated sunroof, power-adjustable front sport seats, cruise control, and an aftermarket sound system. The car was delivered new to Jack Ingram Motors in Montgomery, Alabama, and spent time in Florida before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. Service since 2019 included refinishing the 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, recharging the air conditioning system, and replacing the DME relay, cylinder head studs, valve cover gaskets, timing chain guides, drive belts, tires, and clutch slave cylinder. This Carrera coupe shows 118k miles and is now offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Marine Blue Metallic, and the selling dealer notes that the hood and front fenders have been repainted. Features include a power-operated sunroof, optional front and rear spoilers, fog lights, amber rear corner lights, and heated and power-adjustable mirrors. Fuchs 16″ alloy wheels were refinished in 2022 and are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Toyo Extensa HP II tires showing 2019 date codes. The car was ordered with sport shocks, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The brake fluid was changed in December 2019.

The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats trimmed in Silver Grey upholstery, while the dashboard and carpeting were ordered in Cobalt. Amenities include an alarm system, cruise control, power windows and locks, and an aftermarket stereo connected to an MTX amplifier housed in the front trunk. The air conditioning system was recharged with R134a refrigerant in July 2022.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 118k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Service in December 2019 included the replacement of the hood struts, cylinder head studs, valve cover gaskets, timing guides, ignition wires, and distributor cap and rotor. Additional work performed since 2020 consisted of changing the crankshaft position sensor, accessory belts, alternator fan housing, and DME relay. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced in December 2019.

The window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, and a total of $48,800 and is included along with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a tool kit.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists identification numbers, specifications, and equipment.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Alabama and Florida.
